Zarre's works can perhaps best be defined as iconographic studies of the "pop culture" of contemporary women (and occassionally men). As she herself has said "In a world of instant gratification, I am, as I suspect many of us are, a 'fickle voyeur.'" Zarre offers us a glimpse into an imagined life. Over time each dynamic personality seems to become more familiar and yet she will always remain an enigma.
